Magnolia-licious Christmas Magic Blog Hop

Happy November, Friends! Today Magnolia-licious is celebrating our traditional Christmas Magic Blog Hop with 2 chances to win a $20 gift certificate from Magnolia-licious. Instructions and details are at the end of this post.

If you arrived here from Norma’s blog…then you are on the right track. If you need to start at the beginning all you have to do is go back to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog for the Hop line up.

For my project this year I decided to craft a lantern. This cut is from the Silhouette online store. It is small enough to use as a tree ornament or large enough to use as a décor item.

I added three adorable Mini Magnolias to my lantern and I used some PTI stamps and die cuts for the Christmas trees and the tiny little gift boxes. Aren’t they so cute!

I had such fun making this project. All of my Magnolias are colored with Copics and they all received a coat of Glamour Dust for the fur of the coats, hats and gloves.

Here is a shot of the lantern with an LED tea light candle.

OK, now for the fun HOP part…you have 2 chances to win a $20 Gift Certificate from the Magnolia-licious store.

1.  Each member from the design team has added pictures of Santa Claus to their blog hop post. All you need to do is find the Santa Claus’ and total the number from each DT post. Send the total you found to me at cathylee.co@gmail.com with “Christmas Magic Scavenger Hunt” in the subject line. You will be entered in a random draw of correct responses I receive.
2. Enter a Christmas themed project (anything but a card) in the Hop challenge and you will have a chance to win if your project is the random winner of all entries.

Also you must do the following to be entered for a chance to win either of the prizes:

  • Like us on our Magnolia-licious Facebook Fan Page
  • Leave a comment on each of the DT’s Blog Hop posts.
  • At the end of the Hop return to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog and leave a comment.
Winners will be chosen and posted on November 24.

Your next stop on the hop is the lovely and talented…

Thanks for following along on our Holiday Hop. I hope you've enjoyed seeing all the lovely projects.

Paper Nest Dolls November Release

Hello, Friends. Today marks the November Release for the Paper Nest Dolls. This month’s stamps are Love themed. Pop in at Christine's Facebook page for the new stamp release.

My card features a stamp called Tunnel of Love. They certainly appear to enjoy the ride. LOL I colored my cute couple with Copics and cut them with a stitched circle die from La-La-Land. I layered it over a pretty doily frame from Spellbinders. I also added Spellbinders die cut trim at the bottom of my card face. I love these and you are sure to see this on more of my cards.

My papers are by Teresa Collins paired with Bazzill cardstock. I sprinkled Checkers extra thick embossing powder over the paper panels and heat embossed for a bit of texture.

I added some red gingham ribbon with a pretty bling heart button. My flowers are from WOC with Doo Hickey leaves and I added a heart shaped tree bark element with swirly heart die cuts.

Hope you enjoy the November Release.

Magnolia-licious - Autumn/Fall Colors

Hello, Magnolia Friends. It is Team B’s turn to share our Magnolia-licious DT inspiration for the current challenge…

You have until November 9 to join in for a chance to win a prize from Magnolia-licious.

My card features “Christmas Cabinet, Candle and Fruits” from the 2015 A Lovely Christmas collection. I had to use some of my new stamps from the collection so I thought these would make a wonderful “Home Sweet Home” card. I kept it simple with some  papers from Maja Design paired with Bazzill cardstock, glittery fall ribbon and a sentiment.

I colored my masked images with Copics in festive browns, greens and reds framed with a new Spellbinders fancy die cut.

By now you know the rules for the “Leave a Comment” prize. Commenting on all the DT and Challenge posts gives you a better chance to win.

Come and join us for the challenge and you’ll have a chance to win a prize from the random draw of entries.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week.

I did lots of distressing for texture along with festive Fall flowers and some pretty black lace and ribbon.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

Midweek Magnolias - CAS or Overloaded

Happy Hump Day, Friends!

It’s time for a new challenge at Midweek Magnolias and this fortnight our challenge is…

“CAS or Overloaded”

Join us for the challenge following our theme and roolz and you may have a chance to win a surprise from Magnolia Sweden.

My DT card for this challenge features “Snowy Cottage” from the Waiting for Christmas collection. You can get it in the Magnolia-licious store as Diana is taking pre-orders for it. I decided to create a clean and simple design for this challenge.

My cottage is colored with Copics and I dotted quickie glue on the snowflakes and drifts then powdered some Glamour Dust for a wee bit of sparkle.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge. I’ll be back next week; see you then.
