July Mini Magnolia Challenge

Happy Hump Day, Friends!

It’s my turn to share a Mini Magnolia card for Magnolia-licious' July Mini Magnolia Challenge inspiration.

Diana has a huge collection of Mini Magnolia stamps in the store

My card today features “Tilda with Cherry Ice” and “Time for Ice Cream” from the Sea Breeze collection. My designer papers are from Doodlebug Sun Kissed collection paired with Bazzill cardstock. I used my Lawn Fawn stitched dies for my frame and DP panels.

I found the cutest ice cream cone at Silhouette for my ice cream cone die cut. The “Summer” word die cut is also from Silhouette and my sun border is a La-La-Land Club Kit die. With the flowers, vintage seam binding on the Doodlebug tag it all ties together for a colorful summer card.

Here’s a close up of Tilda and the Ice Cream stand colored with Copics.

I hope you join in for the challenge this month. There is still plenty of time to get your “MINI ON!” LOL

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugz,

Happy Hump Day, Friends!

The Midweek Magnolias are back with a new challenge. This fortnight our theme is…

“Summertime”

Join us for the challenge following the theme and our rules and you could have a chance to win a surprise from Magnolia Sweden.

My card features “Tilda Playing in the Water” from the “SeaSide” collection. I used some nautical papers from Magnolia and Maja Design paired with Bazzill cardstock. I also stamped a few of the SeaSide and Anchor Kit accessory stamps in Tilda’s frame.

My tags, flip flop and ocean wave die cuts are from the DooHickey Die Club Kit #1. The “Video of Me Bubbles” die cut is also from Magnolia. For lots of dimension and texture, I added some mesh, a vintage message in an Apothecary Vial, some seashells, and nautical charms. My flowers and stamens are from WOC and Magnolia. I finished off the card with danish blue vintage seam binding and white baker's twine.

Magnolia-licious - Happy Birthday

Hello, Magnolia Friends. Today we have a brand new challenge at Magnolia-licious and this time our theme is...

Happy Birthday!

You have until July 25 to join in for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from the Magnolia-licious store as long as you follow our rules and our Birthday theme.

My card features “Tip Toe Tilda” from the “Animals of the Year” collection. My designer papers are from LemonCraft “Forget Me Not” collection. I love the turquoise and aqua blues of these papers they are my favorite colors and the patterns are so Shabby Chic!

I used several of my Celebration DooHickey Die Club dies for this card and other Magnolia dies. My border is from Joy Craft and has stars and confetti cuts which reminded me of birthdays.

I also used a few Hero Arts streamer stamps around Tilda’s frame. They were heat embossed with Sparkle and Sprinkle Ice and Mediterranean colored embossing powders.

Here’s a close up of Tilda colored with Copics and a bit of my “Wink of Stella” brush on the lace of her apparel.

I hope I've inspired you to join us in our “Happy Birthday” challenge for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from the Magnolia-licious store.

Have a great week.

Midweek Magnolias - #142 Anything Goes

Happy Hump Day, Friends!

The Midweek Magnolias are back with a new challenge. This fortnight our theme is…

“Anything Goes with a Magnolia Image”

Join us for the challenge following the theme and our rules and you could have a chance to win a surprise from Magnolia Sweden.

My card features “Resting Tilda” from the “Spring Fever” collection. I just got these lovely House of Roses LemonCraft papers from Tracy Payne’s Noor!Design shop and they are gorgeous. I couldn’t wait to play with them when they arrived at my door.

I also used some of the beautiful laser cut flourish chipboard border and the Joy Crafts flower border that I got from the shop. I used a new die from Impression Obsession Flourish leaves and an oldie scallop banner from Whimsy. Still love my old dies but sometimes they get lost in the midst of new ones.

Here is a close up of Tilda colored with Copics.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge. Have a great week.
