Midweek Magnolias - Halloween

Happy Hump Day, Friends! I’m sharing my DT project for our “Halloween” challenge at Midweek Magnolias.

You have one more week to make a card or project to join in the challenge. Follow our rules and theme and you will have a chance to win a prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My card features “So Spooky Tilda” from the So Spooky collection. I colored Tilda with Copics and stamped spider webs around her frame. My designer papers are from Authentique paired with Bazzill cardstock.

I did lots of distressing for texture along with festive Fall flowers and some pretty black lace and ribbon.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

I hope my project inspires you to join us for the challenge. Have a fabulous week.

Magnolia-licious October Photo Inspiration

Hello, Friends. The Magnolia-licious DT are back with another challenge for you and we hope you will join us. It’s my turn to choose the challenges for October and since we are approaching the Halloween Holiday I chose a fun photo for inspiration.
The design team has some spectacular creations for you HERE so hop over and check them out.
If you follow along with us for the challenge you could have a chance to win a Mystery Surprise from Magnolia-licious. Diana has so many awesome Maggie stamps, tons of dies, papers, and other goodies. She also carries the Magnolia Ink Magazine which is one of the first places I go for inspiration. You don’t want to miss the new Christmas Story Collection in stock; the DT has colored some images and they are featured in the store. Fabulous job, Ladies!
My card for this challenge features the adorable “So Spooky Tilda” from the So Spooky Collection. She is available in Mini size in the store. She is colored in Copics with traditional Halloween purple and green.
My DPs are from Doodlebug Designs’ Haunted Manor and they are all matted on Bazzill cardstock. I used my Martha Stewart Halloween fence and spider web punches to add that festive spooky look along with a little cheese cloth behind Tilda. The felt pumpkins are from Martha Stewart as well and the flowers are by Prima and WOC. My sentiment is a Doodlebug Designs sticker adorned with a sparkly black brad. I finished it off with some black glitter ribbon tied in a bow from American Crafts.
The inside of my card has repeating elements from the front, aren’t those little owls so cute?

I’m entering this card in the following Challenges:

Make It Monday – Anything Goes
Forever Friends - Halloween/Autumn
Kaboodle Doodles - Trick or Treat/Fall
Cutie Pie - Halloween

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the Magnolia-licious Challenge. Thanks for popping in to visit and I’ll see you tomorrow with another Magnolia card…
