Midweek Magnolias - New Crafty Stash

Happy Hump Day!

I hope you had an awesome Holiday! We spent it with family and friends and enjoyed a wonderful time.

The Midweek Magnolias are starting the New Year with a favorite challenge we love to share after the holidays…

“New Crafty Stash”

Join us for the challenge with some of those new goodies you received for the holidays and you could have a chance to win a surprise from Magnolia Sweden.

I got the Magnolia Christmas Advent Calendar kit so my card features “Have Dinner with Me Tilda” from the Recipe Card collection which is so adorable. I love the stamps and dies! The designer papers are from LemonCraft House of Roses collection paired with Bazzill cardstock.

I also used some new dies from La-La Land Crafts Monthly Club kit. The cute world heart and globe is perfect for my “love” theme not to mention the darling Magnolia Rose and Heart tag die cuts. The sentiment is also part of the La-La Land Crafts Club kit and my flowers are from Petaloo and Marianne Designs English Rose die.

I’m sure you are wondering who won the draw of my Christmas candy from the Blog Hop and it was....

Congratulations, Donna. Please email me at cathylee.co@gmail.com with your mailing address details so I can send you some goodies.

Thank you to all who stopped by and left me lovely comments. They always inspire me to create my best works and make me smile.

I hope I've inspired you to join us for the challenge this week.

Magnolia-licious - Anything Goes with Lace option

Hello, Magnolia Friends. Happy New Year!

This year is starting with a bang as I have re-joined the Magnolia-licious Design Team. I am so grateful to Candy and Shawn Mills for asking me back to share my creativity and inspiration with you. Our first challenge of the year is very simple…

“Anything Goes with the option of adding Lace”

Our challenges begin on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. So you have until January 16 to join in this challenge for a chance to win $20 shopping dollars from the Magnolia-licious store.

My card features a new stamp, “Wine Testing Tilda” from the Recipe Card collection which was part of the Magnolia Advent Calendar Box at Christmas. My designer papers are from BoBunny Madeleine collection paired with Bazzill cardstock.

I used lots of new and old DooHickey dies for my card. Some are from the Advent Calendar like the Glass and Signs, as well as the DooHickey Club Kits available in the store

I colored Tilda with Copics using the "no line" technique and some of my die cuts were watercolored with my Zig Clean Color brushes.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge and I’m looking forward to seeing your lovely creations.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.
