Beautiful Autumn Colors

Hello Friends! Another short post with a very fun to make card…

I’m entering my card in the Magnolia Down Under Challenge – Fancy Folds. I just loved Debbie Dolphin’s Magic Card so I made one too.

I'm also entering this card in Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Distressed theme.

It is Autumn here already and some of these lovely colors are all across the mountain range.

Check out the tutorial for this card here. There's really nothing magical about the fold but it is very elegant.

Thanks for stopping by…

Tilda with Pumpkin...

Hello Friends! I hope you are having a great Sunday!

Can you believe this??? I am posting another card; the third this week… What a great time I’m having. I am submitting this card to 7 Kids College Fund Challenge. This one is for the “Holiday Goodness” challenge. Since it is so close to Halloween I thought I would create a Halloween card.

This is the first time I’ve used my stamp “Tilda with Pumpkin;” it has been in my stash for about a year now. Unbelievable!!! I always intend to use everything I purchase within a couple weeks but there is always something else that takes up my time. Not saying anything about you, Honey… Hubby is always the first thing on my mind, every day. J

Without further ado, here is my card.

These are the supplies I used for this card.
  • Stamp - Tilda with Pumpkin
  • DPs – Doodles Bug Designs & Bo Bunny
  • Cardstock – Bazzill & DCWV
  • Punches – Martha Stewart
  • Buttons/Flowers – Doodle Bug Designs
  • Ribbon – American Crafts
  • Tag - Doodle Bug Designs
  • Glossy Accents for Tilda'a boots

Hope you enjoyed; thanks for stopping by.

Orange, Teal & Brown

Hello Friends! Happy Saturday...A short post this morning as my husband is nagging me about a Harley ride this afternoon. The temps are going to be in the 80s today which is wonderful for a ride  along the mountain range here in beautiful Colorado. We'll probably ride down to Palmer Lake for an ice cream cone at our favorite hangout.

Orange, Teal & Brown

Today I have another card to share with you and I'm entering this one in the  Magnolia-licious Challenge for the Orange, Teal and Brown color challenge. I'm also entering this in the Make it Monday - Anything Goes Challenge as well.

This is the first time I've had a chance to use this Magnolia stamp. She is Tilda with Butterfly Jeans. So cute isn't she?

Here are the supplies I used for this card.
  • Stamp - Tilda with Butterfly Jeans
  • DPs - My Mind's Eye & Bo Bunny
  • Cardstock - Orange & Teal
  • Doo Hickey Dies - Vintage Tag & Leaf and Swirl Die
  • Pearls - Recollections
  • Rickrack colored with Copic color BG18 & cut from Teal cardstock for the inside with Fiskars Corkscrew sissors

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

It's Good to be Back!

Hello Friends! I am so happy to be back to blogging!!!

You've probably been wondering what happened to me...LOL My hubby, Bruce, and I bought a 5 acre ranch in Sedalia, Colorado along the beautiful stretch of Highway 105 on the way to the Palmer Divide. It was a very stressful time getting all packed up after 9 years in Highlands Ranch. But we got it done and our movers took good care of us.

Now that the new home is all unpacked (by that I mean my new craft room digs) I'm feeling back to normal and getting back to crafting. My previous post in April...yes that's almost 5 months ago...I made a card for the Magnolia-licious Highlites Easter-Spring Extravaganza Contest and I was voted as 2nd place winner for Category #2 Mini Magnolia card!!! I was so happy and loved shopping at my favorite Magnolia Store with $75 gift certificate. Thank you to everyone who voted for me. It's been a long time coming for that gratitude, but I truly am grateful.

Love those Fall Colors!
For my first post in a loooonnnngggg time, I am entering this card in the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge, Fall or Back to School Projects using Rich Fall Colors.

I finished my card last evening using one of my very favorite stamps "Fall Standing Tilda."

My DPs are from Deja Views which I've had in my stash for several years and can't seem to use it up. But this was the perfect opportunity. The cardstock is Bazzill of course and I finally got to use one of my Cheery Lynn Designs Doily dies. I inked all the edges with Walnut Stain and cut some scrap cardstock with my Marvy leaf punches to make leafy Flowers. I added a couple of Prima "Say It with Pearls" embellishments to finish them off. The Fibers are from BasicGrey of the Stella Ruby collection.
Tilda is colored with Copics as usual which is my primary medium of choice. I used so many colors that I didn't catalog them which I usually do. To complete her look I added some Gold Stickles to her wings and Glossy accents to her boots.

Thanks for taking time to stop by and visit. I will have more to come and will occasionally throw in a few photos of the ranch and our animals.
