Magnolia-licious - Use Kraft Paper

Hello, Magnolia Friends. It is Team B’s turn to share our Magnolia-licious DT inspiration for the current challenge…

You have until October 12 to join in and have a chance to win a prize from Magnolia-licious.

My card features “Goosebump Tilda” from the Turning Leaves collection. It is changing to autumn here in the states so I thought using Kraft paper would be perfect for a Fall card. My papers are from Maja Design “Walking in the Forest” collection.

I used lots of the new dies from the latest Magnolia DooHickey club kit. I love the sunflowers with a layer of Flowersoft for the centers. It adds lots of texture to my card.

Here is a close up of Tilda colored with Copics.

By now you know the rules for the “Leave a Comment” prize. Commenting on all the DT and Challenge posts gives you a better chance to win.

Come and join us for the challenge and you’ll have a chance to win a prize from the random draw of entries.

Thanks for stopping by. I’ll be back tomorrow with another Magnolia creation. See you then...

Midweek Magnolias - Anything Goes

Happy Hump Day, Friends! I’m sharing my DT project for our “Anything Goes” challenge at Midweek Magnolias.

You have one more week to make a card or project to join in the challenge. Follow our rules and theme and you will have a chance to win a prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My card features “Tilda with Dripping Ice Cream” from the Pink Lemonade collection. I colored Tilda with Copics and created a shaker for my Birthday theme card. I used some fun Doodlebug Design papers from the Sugar Shoppe collection and TPC cardstock.

My die cuts are from Magnolia, Spellbinders and Frantic Stamper. I stamped a LOTV birthday sentiment on my Tilda Tag, added lots of pretty flowers from WOC and lace from Lavish Laces. The sequins and sprinkle bits are from Papertrey Ink Shakers and Sprinkles Sequin Collection.

I created a special design for the inside of my card with stamps and a die from Papertrey Ink.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

I hope my project inspires you to join us for the challenge. Have a fabulous week.

*****Add Roses*****

I colored one of my new Tilda stamps, “Tilda with Kneesocks” from the Sakura collection. Her dress is so childishly bellowed. What an adorable stamp!!!

I put her on a tag made from Memory Box dies. She would be perfect on a box gift for any birthday celebration.

Here is a close up of Tilda colored in Copic markers...

Midweek Magnolias- Recipe 1-2-3

Happy Hump Day, Friends!

I’m here with a reminder for Midweek Magnolias Challenge Blog. You have a week left to join our challenge with a card or project fitting our theme of…

“Recipe 1-2-3”

All you need to do for a chance to win is use 1 image, 2 designer papers and 3 embellishments. You can choose to use 3 different types of embellishments or 3 of the same. It’s your choice.

My DT card for this challenge features “Free Spirit Tilda” from the Boho collection. I colored Tilda with Copics and gave her a pretty blue shadow to match my papers.

My designer papers are from Authentique’s Radiant collection and I chose to use 3 different embellishments: die cuts, ribbon and flowers.

Here’s a close up of Tilda. Again, I gave her some tiny eyelashes for a little character. Isn’t she adorable?

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge. I’ll be back next week; see you then.

Happy “W”ednesday, Friends! It’s my turn to share a “W”ednesday post for Magnolia-licious. These cards and projects feature stamp lines…

Wee Stamps
Wild Rose Studio
Penny Black
Candibeans
Saturated Canary
From the Hollow Fairy Stamps

Crafter’s Companion

These are all carried in the Magnolia-licious store.

My project today features a Saturated Canary stamp called “Krafty Kate.” I colored my image with Copics to match my Recollections designer papers given to me by my generous friend, Diana Crick. I added Bazzill card stock for my card base, mats and die cuts. My flowers are all handmade with Magnolia, La-La-Land and Marianne Design dies.

I sprinkled some Vintage Aqua Fran-tage around my card for some texture and interest. My lace is from Melissa Frances and I added some string bling.

Here’s a close up of my image.

For a chance to win the weekly “Leave a Comment” Surprise Package all you have to do is:

  • Leave a comment on any of the posts on the Challenge Blog.
  • Leave a comment on any of the DT’s blog post for that week.
  • The more posts you comment on the better your chances to win.

Midweek Magnolias - Buttons and Bows

Happy Hump Day, Friends!

I’m here with a reminder for Midweek Magnolias Challenge Blog. There's a week left for you to enter a card or project for our current challenge theme…

“Buttons & Bows”

My DT card features "Divine Tilda" from the Waiting for Christmas collection. My mother passed away a couple weeks ago and I made this card as a “Thank You” for one of her many good friends.

I used some pretty Maja Design paper (can never have enough of these!) and a new butterfly die from Frantic Stamper. The sentiment is from LOTV. I love these because they are so versatile with a variety of messaging in the middle of the stamp.

I colored Tilda with Copics and I smeared some Brushed Pewter Distress paint randomly over the card elements. I got a bit messy with it but it adds a lot of texture and sheen as you can see in this photo.

Here’s a close up of Tilda. I gave her some tiny eyelashes for a little character. Isn’t she adorable?

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge. I’ll be back next week; see you then.

Magnolia-licious - Add an Animal

Hello, Magnolia Friends. It is Team B’s turn to share our DT inspiration for the current challenge at Magnolia-licious. Our current challenge is…

*****Add an Animal*****

You have until August 10th to join in and have a chance to win a prize from Magnolia-licious.

I colored one of my new Tilda stamps. I love her adorable dress. I added a cute kitten from a Christmas stamp and fussy cut it and adhered it to my image. My kitty is the perfect height so Tilda is giving her some scritches. LOL

My papers are from BoBunny and I used some new dies for the border and handmade flowers from La-La-Land. The butterflies got a sprinkle of Aqua and Pink Fran-tage.

Here is a close up of Tilda with her kitty.
