Happy Wednesday, Friends! We at Midweek Magnolias are back with
a new challenge and our theme this fortnight is...
Song Birds!
We want to see those lovely creations that are inspired by a song
but NOT Happy Birthday.
The song that inspired me to create this card is “I Put a Spell
on You” performed by Bette Midler from the movie, Hocus Pocus. If you've never
seen this movie it is a Halloween comedy treat. A Disney film from 1993 and it
still makes me laugh. I've included a short clip from the movie of the song at the end of the
post for you viewing enjoyment.
My card features “Witch Tilda” from the Magnolia So Spooky collection.
She is colored with Copics and I paper pieced her dress from one of my Doodlebug
Design papers. Then I shaded the dress with warm grey Copics.
I had lots of fun picking out papers, die cuts and ghoulish
embellies for my Halloween card.
Here’s a close-up of Tilda.
