Magnolia-licious - Add an Animal

Hello, Magnolia Friends. It is Team B’s turn to share our DT inspiration for the current challenge at Magnolia-licious. Our current challenge is…

*****Add an Animal*****

You have until August 10th to join in and have a chance to win a prize from Magnolia-licious.

I colored one of my new Tilda stamps. I love her adorable dress. I added a cute kitten from a Christmas stamp and fussy cut it and adhered it to my image. My kitty is the perfect height so Tilda is giving her some scritches. LOL

My papers are from BoBunny and I used some new dies for the border and handmade flowers from La-La-Land. The butterflies got a sprinkle of Aqua and Pink Fran-tage.

Here is a close up of Tilda with her kitty.

By now you know the rules for the “Leave a Comment” prize. Commenting on all the DT and Challenge posts gives you a better chance to win.

Come and join us for the challenge and you’ll have a chance to win a prize from the random draw of entries.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week.

Midweek Magnolias - Anything but a Card

Happy Hump Day, Friends! I am so glad to see you all at the Midweek Magnolias Challenge Blog this morning. Our next challenge this fortnight is a personal favorite of mine…

“Anything but a Card”

I love creating paper crafted items that I can give away as gifts. This is a “box in a bag" and I’ve had it on my “to make” list for some time now. There is a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers and it is so easy to craft.

I used one of the new stamps from the “Magnolia Stamp Club.” She is not in the store yet so I don’t know her name. I can’t wait to see the entire collection. They remind me of the 60s “Flower Power” era. I will likely be adding more of these cuties to my collection once they reach the store.

I used some pretty Maja Design paper and a new die set. I created a paper lace trim at the bottom of my bag with my dies and added tiny flat back pearls for a delicate touch.

I colored Tilda with Copics; her dress is colored with one of my favorite BG color combos. I love the turquoise color hues of these markers.

Here’s a close up of Tilda. I am still a bit shaky with coloring since surgery and my wrist gets sore after long lengths of coloring time. So I am taking it slow but I’m making progress every day.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge. Have a great week.

Magnolia-licious - Anchors Aweigh

Hello, Magnolia Friends. I am finally back to blogging and sharing creative inspiration for Magnolia-licious. It has been a very challenging time this year with my wrist surgeries and now that I have pretty much recovered from those, I am back in my craft room on a regular basis coloring and creating cards. Although it seems that my creative Mojo has gone missing, or on holiday if you prefer, I am still trying my best to get back in the swing. I love coloring and creating cards so I am really happy to be in my creative space again. Our current challenge is…

*****Anchors Aweigh*****

So all you need to do is put an anchor on your project. The challenge will run until July 27th.

My card features "Pirate Tilda" and "Barrel and Skull" Magnolia stamps.

I used some fabulous Maja designer papers and Bazzill card stock.

I love the new La-La-Land die cuts which I got in my club subscription. They are so cool...

Here is a close up of Tilda colored with Copics.

#116 Anything Goes - Midweek Magnolias

Happy Hump Day, Friends! I am so glad to see you all at the Midweek Magnolias Challenge Blog this morning. Our next challenge is one of my favorites…

“Anything Goes”

Since we are free to make just about anything you can think of, I decided to share my creation of a Pocket Letter Pal that will be shipped to my good friend Candy Mills.

She made a spectacular PLP for me with all kinds of lovely pink elements. I am so excited to bring this fun project to our crafting resort and I will be making more in the future.

This is the back of the Pocket Letter.

Here is a close up of Tilda.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge. Have a great week.

Magnolia-licious - "W"ednesday Post #77

Happy “W”ednesday, Friends! It’s my turn to share a “W”ednesday post for Magnolia-licious. These cards and projects feature stamp lines…

Wee Stamps
Wild Rose Studio
Penny Black
Candibeans
Saturated Canary
From the Hollow Fairy Stamps
Dollhouse
Crafter’s Companion

These are all carried in the Magnolia-licious store.

My project today features a Saturated Canary stamp called “Gothica.” She is "NEW" in the Magnolia-licious store. I colored my image with Copics to match my Penny Black Coco Style designer papers and Bazzill card stock.

I used my Joy Crafts die border again. I am in love with this die; it is so elegant. My SC image is framed with a pretty die from Spellbinders. I also handmade all of my flowers this time with dies from Magnolia and Marianne Design. I made a cute pompon with bakers twine and added a few other elements for interest.

Here’s a close up of my image.

For a chance to win the weekly “Leave a Comment” Surprise Package all you have to do is:
  • Leave a comment on any of the posts on the Challenge Blog.
  • Leave a comment on any of the DT’s blog post for that week.
  • The more posts you comment on the better your chances to win.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Hugz,

Midway Reminder - Fun in the Sun

Happy Hump Day, Friends! I’m sharing my DT project for our “Fun in the Sun” challenge at Midweek Magnolias.

You have one more week to make a project or card to join in the challenge. Follow our rules and theme and you could have a chance to win a prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My card features “Lazy Tilda” from the new Sakura collection. I colored Tilda with Copics and made her legs as shoes instead so that she looks like she is sitting in the grass. I used some fun Doodlebug Design papers from the Sunkissed collection with Bazzill cardstock.

My die cuts are Memory Box flowers, Cottage Cutz Butterflies, La-La Land Heart Border and Magnolia Bloomy tags. I added some lace from LLC and flowers from WOC.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

I hope my project inspires you to join us for the challenge. Have a fabulous week.

Magnolia-licious - Pretty in Pink

Hello, Magnolia Friends. I haven’t been posting regularly due to a broken wrist back in February and I am going under the knife again tomorrow to remove the plate and pins from the joint. Normally they would leave it in permanently but it is not in a good position so it is coming out. I have a post that I’ve scheduled for today and next week but I may not be back until the end of June. So, without further ado, I'm sharing my DT card for the current Magnolia-licious challenge

*****Pretty in Pink*****

The challenge will run until June 8th.

My card features “Sakura Tilda” from the new Magnolia Sakura collection. Tilda is colored with Copics and framed with my new die from Joy Crafts. I love this frame and how it works with the matching border die. I also used some fabulous new Magnolia dies from the Sakura collection. The adorable Sakura Lanterns and Fireworks fit so will with Tilda.

My designer papers are from Penny Black, Coco Style collection and my cardstock is Bazzill as usual. I used as much pink as I could for this lovely Tilda and it is such an easy color to create with.

Here’s a close-up of Tilda.

By now you know the rules for the “Leave a Comment” prize. Commenting on all the DT and Challenge posts gives you a better chance to win.

Come and join us for the challenge I know you will enjoy it plus you get a chance to win a prize from the random draw of entries.
