Go Team!!!

Good evening, Friends. My DH and I have been getting ready for the cold winter weather here on our ranch in Colorado. Today we finally got the Duck/Goose house anchored in its permanent home by the pond. Hubby is awesome at building things from scratch and he did a wonderful job! All that is left to do is put shingles on it and the birds will be happy and warm when it snows which BTW, may be this coming Wednesday. I got 30 Tulip bulbs planted around my garden but I have lots left so will I'll find someplace to put them tomorrow while we have nice weather.

GO TEAM!!!
I made this cute little card this afternoon. Of course I already had the idea in my head during the week and I always make notes as I design, that way I don’t forget anything. Lately that’s everyday which comes with old age. LOL
I got Cheerleader Tilda from the Magnolia Stamp Club and have been aching to use her. The DPs are from PTI, cardstock is from Bazzill and The Paper Company. My flowers are from WOC, Prima and Recollections. I sprayed the graphite colored flowers with a mix of Black Soot Distress ink, water and pearl white Perfect Pearls.
The Heart Swirl die cut is new from the Magnolia-licious store and trimmed to fit around the flowers. I colored Tilda with Copics and cut her out with a border and matted on black cardstock.
I’m entering this card in the following Challenges:

MDUC – Get Punchy
Heart Song Inspirations – Flowers and/or Felt
Crafty Cardmakers – Cute with a Dark Element
PaperPlay Challenges – Use Black
4 Crafty Chicks – Marker it Up
Southern Girls Challenge – Stripes and Polka Dots

I hope you enjoyed visiting. Thanks for stopping by.

This is too cute! I love the yellow and black together. Did you make this for someone specifically? Just wondered as black and gold are fairly common school colors. Great job coloring Tilda.

Hugs,
Anne
