Frilly, Lacey and Feminine

This challenge will run until September 22. So you have lots of time to join us.

For this challenge I’ve chosen “Tilda in the Garden” from the Pink Lemonade collection. My designer papers are from Maja Design and cardstock is Bazzill. I used lots of frilly lace, stitching and ink distressing  for a shabby chic effect.

Tilda is colored with Copics and I gave her frame a bit of stitching as well. I used lots of die cuts for my card.

MM Midway Reminder Back to School

Happy Hump Day, Friends! I’m sharing my DT project for our “Back to School” challenge at Midweek Magnolias.

You have until next Tuesday to make a project or card. Follow our rules and theme and you could have a chance to win a prize from Magnolia Sweden.

This project is a teacher’s gift. I saw this idea on Pinterest and just thought it was the cutest idea. I created my candy pencils with some sweet Mini Magnolias on Bloomy Tags with a bit of distressing.

The pencils are simply Rolo caramels wrapped with cardstock and a Hersey’s Hug on the end. I tied the candy pencils together with some lace trim threaded through my tags in a bow knot.

Here’s a close up of my Tildas. Both are colored with coordinating Copics to match my cardstock.

MM Midway Reminder - Decorate a Gift Bag or Box

Happy Hump Day, Friends! Our current challenge “Decorated Gift Bag or Box” at  Midweek Magnolias is still running and I'm back today to share my DT project.

This is a La-La Land Crafts Trinket Box I made featuring “Tilda in Lace Pants” from the Animals of the Year collection.

My DPs are from Maja Design and distressed with Brushed Corduroy DI. I added some Magnolia Tags dressed up with lace trim, MS Clay butterflies and a Tim Holtz glass vial.

The pearl trim around the edge gives the box a feminine touch. Some pretty flowers, swirl die cuts, and metal lock with key finishes the box nicely.

Tilda was colored with Copics and mounted on a Spellbinders Floral Oval Frame.

Anything Goes!

This is one of my favorites because you can make any type of project you want.

For this challenge I chose one of my new stamps from the Pink Lemonade collection; this is Pink Lemonade Tilda. This little cutie just hollered yellow and pink so she is dressed in those lovely lemonade colors.

I used some pretty coordinating DPs from My Mind’s Eye and had fun with my new La-La-Land Crafts Doily die.

My~Besties - Fancy Pants All Dressed Up

Hello, Friends. I have some fun and exciting news. Sherri Baldy invited me to join the My~Besties Design Team! Since I love these cuties I had to say, “yes.” My~Besties stamps are so fun to color and they are adorable for cards and projects.

My first DT card for My~Besties features a sweet stamp called Fancy Pants all Dressed Up.

I used Pion Design papers for my card panels to coordinate with my Copic colors. Her dress was sprinkled with Glamour Dust using my Sakura Quickie Glue pen. The polka dots on her dress where colored with pink and purple Soufflé pens to give it a bit of dimension.

I stitched and distressed my DP panels with my Zutter and Brushed Corduroy DI. My cute pennant was created with the new Celebration Circle Pennants stamps and coordinating Circle Pennant die set from Whimsy Stamps.
