Happy “W”ednesday, Friends! It’s time for a new “W”ednesday post at Magnolia-licious. Come visit the Challenge blog for a new challenge, “Bling it Up” as well and while you’re there check out all the lovely cards by the DT for our “W”ednesday post. These cards and projects feature the new stamp lines Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studio, Penny Black, and Candibeans available in the Magnolia-licious store.

My card today features a stamp called “Rosetta” from Wee Stamps created by Sylvia Zet. I love her creative style with these adorable fairy images.

I colored her with Copics and made this card a little shabby chic to show her off with lacy elements, die cuts, pearls, flowers, and some distressing. I added a little Glamour Dust to her wings for sparkle.

Here’s a close-up of my colored image.

Midweek Magnolias - Autumn Colors

Happy Wednesday, Friends! This is my first of two posts today…WOW! I have been really busy making cards and crafts this weekend.

This fun creation is for the Midweek Magnolias Midway Reminder. Our “Autumn Colors” challenge will continue until next Tuesday. I hope you get time to break out those pretty fall papers and colors and join in for a chance to win a Mystery Prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My project features “Tilda with Carrots” from the 2012 Turning Leaves collection. I colored her with Copics as well as a few Touch Twin markers then cut her out leaving a white border so that she would stand out among all the elements of my Fall Décor Screen. I added several other Magnolia stamps from the Turning Leaves collection. My Sunflowers were colored with Copics then sprinkled with brown flock for the centers. The Autumn Oak Leaf and Acorns were heat embossed with Fran-tage embossing powder.

Here’s a close-up of Tilda. She is a doll.

Magnolia-licious Blog Hop

Hello, Friends. Welcome to the Magnolia-licious Blog Hop. If you are hopping along with us and you got here from JANIEL’s blog then you’re on the right track. To start from the beginning, go to the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog to see the lineup and links to all the wonderful creativity the DT has to share with you.

Our Hop theme this time is FALL or HALLOWEEN! The DT always creates something special that is paper crafted for the Hop.

There are so many things you can make to celebrate Fall or Halloween. I Google everything…so I Googled "Fall craft project images" and it returned so many fun creative ideas. I purchased this adorable little watering can at Michaels and decided to decorate it with all kinds of fun fall elements.

And let me tell ya, I had a devil of a time trying to get good photos...LOL The project is too large for my light box and I had to find the best place to get some natural light which usually isn't a problem around here. But Colorado has had tons of ran this last week and flash floods galore! It is so stinkin’ wet I can’t stand to go out in it. Of course, that would never work around here on the ranch because we have horses, ducks, geese, and chickens to care for on a daily basis. I’m sure you can tell I’m feelin’ a little soggy...LOL

Anywhoo, on to my project…“to lighten my mood”…and to share something fun that might inspire you to join our Blog Hop challenge.

I decorated both sides of my watering can with Magnolia stamps. This one is “Tilda with Lovely Jam” from the 2012 Turning Leaves collection.

This side features "Scooter Tilda" also from the Turning Leaves collection. I colored my images with Copics and used Mod Podge to glue and seal them to the can for durability. Most of the floral/leaf elements I purchased at Michaels but the sunflowers I cut with my Silhouette Cameo adding Flowersoft to the centers.

Here are some close-up shots of my Magnolias.

Don’t forget to leave a comment on any of the DT blogs and/or the Challenge blog for a chance to win a weekly prize. The winner is announced every week during “W”ednesday posts.

You are almost at the end of the hop and your next stop is the very talented...

I hope I've inspired you to create something fun for Fall or Halloween. Thanks for letting us share our Blog Hop projects with you...see you back here real soon.
