Hello, Friends and Happy Hump Day! The Midweek Magnolias Design Team has a new challenge for you and this week our Challenge theme is “Home for Christmas.” This is interpreted as what moves you to think of what it’s like to be home for Christmas. And because I am a little under the weather this week (either a nasty cold or flu from my grandson who I babysat for last weekend...Eeeewwww...I do love the little booger), I’m not going to bore you with a lot of detail about my card but will share the supplies at at the end of my post. By the way, this is an update to the original post because I always check once I've scheduled it that it published ok. My head is not with me evidently as I overwrote a previous post. Yikes!
So, here goes…My card includes a Marianne Design House die as I always think of how our home was decorated at Christmas time with lights. When I was a kid my Dad put a Santa and his sleigh of eight reindeer (actually it was 4 reindeer-but you get the picture) on the roof of our house and lite it with spotlights. It was spectacular and I will never forget that moment as a kid, that was back as far as 1971 for me. YIKES!!! That was a long time ago.
