Hi, Braker Fans. I have a new
card to share with you for my I Brake for Stamps DT project. I have moved
to posting on Thursday instead of Tuesday. So I hope to see you here every week.
I Brake for Stamps has a new release of some really awesome stamps by Rubber Romance so I’ve used one of the
Divas called “Robin the Dog Lover.” She is truly a Diva so I thought I would
paper piece her gauchos and hat. Do you remember gauchos? If not, you are not
as old as I am…LOL Basically, they are Capris with a flare at the bottom of the
pant legs.
I’ve been into sewing and
distressing lately so thought I would make a shabby chic card for Robin. My DPs
are by MME the Indie Chic “Saffron” collection. These papers are so fun to
craft with and have some cool patterns and colors. The collection also includes
lots of cute buttons, trinkets and this darling sewn pennant so I had to add
that. I made the lace ribbon with some tulle, seam binding and string pearls.
It put the chic in my shabby card. Finally, I added some flowers and leaves and
called it done.
I used a similar design for the
inside of my card and it is ready for any sentiment.
