Midweek Magnolias - Anything Festive

Happy Hump Day, Friends!

It’s time for a new challenge at Midweek Magnolias and our challenge is…

“Anything Festive”

Join us for the challenge and follow the theme and our roolz and you may have a chance to win a surprise from Magnolia Sweden.

My DT card for this challenge features “Snowy Tilda with Gifts” from the 2015 Lovely Christmas collection. You can get it in the Magnolia-licious store. I used some new DPs from BoBunny’s Sleigh Ride collection and I paired them with Kraft paper. I had to use some of my new DooHickey dies so I chose the snowy scene and added Prima Snow Paste for dimension and texture.

I colored my Tilda with Copics then cut her out with my PixScan from Silhouette. No more sore fingers fussy cutting images. It works like a charm and I love its versatility. I added some pretty Stickles to Tilda’s packages and snowflakes. Her puffy pompom was created with Liquid Applique and I used glossy accents for her boots. All of the die cut flowers and snowflakes got a bit of Stardust Stickles as well.

Here is a close up of Tilda. She is such a cutie.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge

Have a Happy Holiday Season!!!

Midweek Magnolias - Pink and Green

Happy Hump Day, Friends!

It’s time for a new challenge at Midweek Magnolias and this fortnight our challenge is…

Pink and Green

Join us for the challenge and follow the theme and our roolz and you may have a chance to win a surprise from Magnolia Sweden.

My DT card for this challenge features “Tilda with Christmas Light” from A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection. I used some pretty pink and green designer papers from Carina Gardner Santa’s Sleigh collection and I paired them with Bazzill cardstock. I love the colors and patterns in this collection.

I kept my card fairly simple with an embellished poinsettia border die from Memory Box with Impression Obsession rolled flower dies, rhinestone trimmed lace and Tilda tags with vintage seam binding. The Christmas tree charm is from my stash with a few WOC flowers and stamens.

Here is a close up of Tilda colored with Copics in pink and green.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge. Have a great week.

Magnolia-licious "W"ednesday

Happy “W”ednesday, Friends! It’s my turn to share a “W”ednesday post for Magnolia-licious. These cards and projects feature the stamp lines Wee Stamps, Wild Rose Studio, Penny Black, and Candibeans carried in the Magnolia-licious store. The store now carries Saturated Canary stamp line and the DT will be including inspirational cards and projects with these new stamps as well.

My project today features a Wee Stamp called “Let it Snow.” I colored my image with Copics and created a Christmas ornament with some adorable metal charms for my NOEL sentiment.

I used Polar White Flower Soft for my snow and for the cute little girl's coat trim I used White Sparkly Fluff. This ornament has lots of texture.

Here’s a close up of my Wee Stamp. She is so adorable and I enjoyed coloring her.

Christmas in July at Magnolia-licious

Happy Tuesday, Friends. We have another new challenge for you at Magnolia-licious. This time our theme is…

Christmas in July!

It is so HOT this week, in the upper nineties, that I would love to have some cool weather.

My Christmas card for the challenge features “Peaceful Tilda” from the 2013 Winter Wonderland collection. My designer papers are from Fancy Pants and cardstock is Bazzill. I used a lot of glitter on my card elements. The card is a pop up gift card holder. I've wanted to make one of these so I decided a Christmas theme is the perfect occasion. Check out the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers. I easily modified the dimensions for a square card.

Here’s the card when you open it. I added a closure strap so that it lies flat in an envelope.

Here’s a close up of Tilda. I colored her with Copics and used a little Gold stickles on her wings and halo.

Leave us a comment on any of the DT’s blogs and/or the Challenge blog for a chance to win a weekly prize. The winner is announced every week during the “W”ednesday post.

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

Happy Wednesday, Friends! I’m back to share my Midway Reminder for Midweek Magnolias “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas” challenge.

Link up a creation with snow or a snow image, follow our ROOLZ and you could have a chance to win a Mystery prize from Magnolia Sweden.

I used this adorable “In the Snow Ski Tilda” from the Winter Wonderland collection. She is available in the Magnolia-licious store with lots or her friends.

I colored all of Tilda with Copics and added a little Liquid Applique for the snow. I put a bit of Stardust Stickles on the snow for a glistening effect and Glossy Accents on her skis. I used lots of wintry die cuts, snow spray on my designer paper panels and gesso for texture and dimension.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

The tag pulls out for a Holiday greeting. This stamp is called Holiday Cheer by Raindrop Echo Designs from the Magnolia-licious store.

I hope my project inspires you to join us for the challenge. Have a fabulous week.
