Hello Friends and Happy Memorial Day!
I spent my whole Sunday afternoon setting up my new PC and WOW is it fast! I love new technology. However, sometimes the tech vendors change things so much you have to relearn stuff. I majored in Computer Science but there's always new hardware, software, etc. to learn and that takes time. OK, I'll get off the soapbox for a while.
Our Challenge at Craft Your Passion is up and this week our theme is "Baby, Oh Baby" with optional stitching. Pattie's Creations is our sponsor and she has given us some sweet digis to play with. Check out my DT sisters on the Challenge blog for some adorable inspiration.
My card doesn't have stitching but I did use a needle and thread to gather the tulle for my little girl's dress. I paper pieced the dress from some cute DCWV Designer Papers in my scrap stash. I added pearl ribbon to the midriff trim and a flower from WOC. My ribbon is American Crafts and I used dimensionals for the dress. All on bright white cardstock makes the perfect "Welcome Baby" card.
This is my last DT project for Craft Your Passion and it has been a lot of fun. Jenn, our awesome leader and my DT sisters are sweet as can be not to mention very creative. Now I'll get a chance to participate in the Challenges.
