Happy Wednesday, Friends! First just let me just say, “THANK YOU”
to all of my fabulous friends for the lovely birthday wishes yesterday. I had a
wonderful day. I spent some time in my craft room with no distractions. Hubby
and I had lobster for dinner and he bought me jewelry. Yay!!! A beautiful three ring set
with large ivory, black and white pearls. I asked for a ring with a
white and black pearl which I didn't have in my jewelry armoire. He has bought
me lots of precious stones over the years but I didn't have pearls. This one takes the cake, I truly love them. I was spoiled rotten and it was such a lovely day.
Anywho, I have a new project for our Midway Reminder for the “Anything
but a card” challenge. You still have a week to join us at Midweek Magnolias.
If you create something with the theme and follow our ROOLZ, you
could have a chance to win a Mystery prize from Magnolia Sweden.
I thought I would make something special that I can use for home decor during the holidays so I found a fabulous Snowflake Lantern on the
Silhouette Cameo web site. My lanterns feature three new Magnolias from the
Winter Wonderland collection, “Christmas Eve Tilda,” “Peaceful Tilda,” and “Merry
Christmas Tilda” all from the Magnolia-licious store. Each one is a little
different using individual colors, Magnolias and ribbons.
I colored all of my Magnolias with Copics and cut them out to attach
them to each lantern. I put a battery operated tea light in each for that soft glowing
effect.
I hope my project inspires you to join us for the challenge. Have
a great Thanksgiving for those who are celebrating it and have a fabulous week.

Wow! These are gorgeous Cathy Lee!! Love, love them!
These are just gorgeous !!! I love them all & just got my Cameo & am anxious to go shopping for some of the wonderful things on the Silhouette site. I see they are having a huge sale on that site. Hopefully I can figure out how to use them ... Love those snowflakes so much. Are those from the silhouette store also.
Hugs, Janie
oh wow, these are fantastic, and so beautifully decorated, love them all ....I wish I already had the cameo....there's several projects I've seen that I would love to make, and usually I can just figure things out and make a similar design with my cricut and gypsy, it's just getting more difficult these days. I also need a vagabond or ebosser, one that is push button, it gets pretty painful cranking the cuttlebug, I need someone to just do that part for me, I'd get a lot more creating done!! I wonder if Santa will lend me one of his elves in the new yr. he won't need him right away ;) lol have a great wk, and happy belated bday, so glad you got spoiled rotten :) enjoy the pearls!!
Happy Birthday Cathy! Sorry it's late but I haven't been online with my mom being in town. I'm so glad you had such a good day.
