Wish you were here...

Hello, Friends! We are back with a new challenge for you at Midweek Magnolias. This week our theme is…

Wish you were here
a Seaside Theme

My card for the challenge features more of an ocean scene. I've had this design in my card making journal since last year and I finally made it. My card stock is Bazzill and the Paper Co. with a Bo Bunny background paper.

The Magnolias I used are Pearl Tilda, Largo the Dolphin, Oyster with Pearl, and Memory Shells. I also used several Marianne Designs die cuts for the sea plants and anchor. The coral stamp is from I Brake for Stamps and heat embossed with coral colored embossing powder from Ranger. I also heat embossed my Memory Shells and the Oyster with Pearl with Vintage Ivory Frantage to give them little gold specks on the image. Then I used a color resist technique on them with ink from SU.

The Oyster with Pearl has Glamour Dust on the inside of the shell. Most of my elements got a coat of Glamour Dust or Stardust stickles for sparkle. Tilda was colored with Copics and I used Viva Décor pearls for the bubbles in her hair.

Here's a shot of the entire Easel Step card.

We would love for you to join us for the challenge this week and don't forget to stop over at the DT's blogs for inspiration.

Cathy so much to look at... I love everything, you sure nailed this challenge. Your card stock is perfect. Largo goes so well on that paper he look like he was made for that background. The coral stamp with all the sparkle and the embossing looks awesome. Your coloring of Tilda is stunning.
