Buttons and Bows
I just got my Sweden kit a few days ago so had to start coloring
and decided to use this sweet little bathing beauty from the new summer kit.
I colored Tilda with Copics, added a little sand coloring under her using the E50
series and Bronze Fran-tage around her frame. I used some lovely Pion
papers, distressed them with my Tim Holtz tool and inked with Frayed Burlap.
My gold buttons are from JoAnn’s with the loop backs cut off.
The corner flourish is chip board from Blue Fern Studios and covered with
Bronze Fran-tage. The lace I got from LLC and I added flowers from Magnolia,
Kort & Godt, and WOC. I finished the card with a satin bow from Michaels
and a few Magnolia die cuts.
Here’s a close up of Tilda on the beach.
I'm entering my card in the following chllanges:
I hope my card inspired you to join us with buttons and bows of
your own at Midweek Magnolias.
Have a great week.
