Midweek Magnolia - Four Legged Friends

Hello, Friends and Happy Hump Day! The Midweek Magnolias Design Team has a new challenge for you and this week our theme is “Four Legged Friends.” You can choose to use a Magnolia animal on its own or paired with Tilda or Edwin. Hop over to Midweek Magnolias for some awesome inspiration from the DT and leave some love on their blogs. When you join us for the challenge you’ll have a chance to win a fabulous mystery prize from Magnolia Sweden.
My card this week features “Christmas Tilda with Cat” from the Little Christmas Collection. I colored Tilda with Copics and used a fun flourish from Whimsy Stamps masked behind Tilda.
My cardstock is from The Paper Co. and the DPs are from Bazzill’s Believe collection. I cut three Magnolia Doohickey Spruce trees from one of the papers and distressed the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I also dry embossed the cardstock with an M-Bossibilities folder from Spellbinders and added a punched border from Martha Stewart for a bit of lacy texture. Then I finished my card with some WOC poinsettias brushed with Stardust Stickles, a sheer ribbon bow from The Ribbon Spot and a cute banner sentiment from Whimsy Stamps.
The inside of my card has similar elements from the front with an open space for any message or sentiment.

I’m entering this project in the following Challenges:

Make It Monday – Anything Goes
Tilda’s Town – Merry Christmas
Color Me Creative – A Touch of Red
MDUC – Inspired by a song (We wish you a Merry Christmas)

I hope my card inspires you to join us this week at Midweek Magnolias. Happy crafting…
