Hello Friends. I hope your week is going well so far. It is very cold here; we had a hard freeze last night. The lawn and pasture was covered with frost this morning. I don’t know how my ducks and geese survive in this cold sometimes because they spend the whole night in the pond. What the heck is that all about...LOL I’m sure the water is warmer than the air and it’s the safest place in case the coyotes get any ideas, if you know what I mean.
This is my “Puppy Love” card. I just got “Wilma with Rose” a couple weeks ago and finally got around to making a card with her. She is so cute and reminds me of my late Cocker Spaniel, Buffie.
The DPs are from Basic Grey, Oliver collection. I distressed most of the edges and inked them with Peeled Paint Distress ink. The lace is from WOC and the ribbon is from my stash of scraps. My roses are from Making Memories and layered over Prima flowers.
I colored Wilma with Copics then die cut her with my Sizzix distress frame and sponged a layer of Peeled Paint around the frame.

Awww, isn't she adorable! She reminds me a little of a little Schnauzer I had several years ago... something in her expression, I think. Anyway, I love the colors you chose for this one and those BG papers are perfect! I also like that bit of ruffled eyelet lace. Beautiful touch!
