Hello, Friends. I’m back with some inspiration to share with you for a new challenge at Magnolia-licious and this time we want you to show us your…

BLING!

So anything that sparkles and shines is in for a chance to win a Surprise gift from Magnolia-licious.

I decided to color up this cutie, “Summer Wedding Tilda” from the 2013 Special Moments collection. I added some postage stamps from the New York stamp kit for a little bling using silver tinsel embossing powder and Crystal Stickles to Tilda's dress. I love shabby chic style so did some distressing, added some lace, chic pearls and buttons and that’s all there is to it.

Here’s my Magnolia die cut tag that’s hidden behind Tilda. I love the lacy look of this tag. I created the sentiment on my PC with Photoshop and ran the tag through to print it.

Midweek Magnolia Midway Reminder - Shaped Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! It’s time again for another Midway Reminder for Midweek Magnolias Shaped Card challenge going on until next Tuesday. You have a whole week to make a card that is not square or rectangle. So get crafting and join us for a chance to win a Mystery Prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My shape card is a Seashell and what better Magnolia stamp to use than this cutie, “Tilda on the Beach” from the new Sea Breeze collection. Check out the Magnolia-licious store for new stamps and dies, my favorite place to shop.

I cut the card shape with my Cameo and used Maja Designs paper for the beveled edge over my Bazzill card stock. I kept the card simple so the shape shows through using a tag with ribbons, some flowers, and a flourish die. I also colored Tilda with Copics using the no-lines technique.

Here are some close ups of the elements of my card.

This is the flower I made with CREAlies Creative Flowers die No. 23. I love to make my own embellishments when I have time.

Here’s a close up of Tilda. I was having a little bit of a sticky challenge with my E11 Copic and changed the tip midstream during coloring so some of the color is a little blotchy.

Supplies:
Stamps – Magnolia: Tilda on the Beach and Ocean Map
Dies – Magnolia: So Wrapped Tilda Lace Folded Tag, Spellbinders: Scallop frame and Fantastic Flourish, CREAlies: Creative Flowers No. 23, Silhouette Cameo: Seashell by Joel Pilcher
Ribbon/Lace – WOC: Vintage Seam Binding, Eyelet Lace
Flowers – Magnolia, LLC, and Handmade with CREAlies die
Other – Michael’s: Pearl, BoBunny: Sea Star charm
Copic Colors – Skin: E11, E00, E000, R20, R30, Apparel: BG57, BG53, B00, R89, R85, R83, R81, Hair: E25, YR23, Y21, Water: B34, B00, B0000
Ink – Memento: Pink, Distress Ink: Brushed Corduroy, Broken China, Spun Silk

I hope my card inspires you to join us with a shaped card of your own at Midweek Magnolias. Have a great week!

"W"ednesday with Wild Rose Studio

Happy “W”ednesday, Friends! It’s time for the new “W”ednesday posts at Magnolia-licious. The DT has a treat for you with new Wee Stamps and creations from Wild Rose Studio.

My card today features a new stamp in the Magnolia-licious store called “Bella Party” by Wild Rose Studio. Isn’t she the cutest? I love the adorable artwork that goes into these stamps and so fun to color and create cards with.

My designer papers are from Pebbles, Sunny Side collection which has bright and fun patterns. The card stock is Bazzill of course and I decided to use two shades of pink for this cutie. The lace is from JoAnn’s and has darling sequins and bugle beads for a little sparkle. My flowers are from Prima and Kort & Godt with a coat of Stardust Stickles and pearls from Queen and Co. The double sided satin ribbon is one of my favorites from JoAnn’s with an MME brad button at its center.

The corner die cuts are from Whimsy with a few pearls from Queen and Co. I also put a coat of Glossy Accents on Bella’s Balloon and a few more pearls in the corner of my image. The Happy Birthday sentiment I created on my PC with a Spellbinders label die cut.

My image was colored with Copics and I paper pieced the center gift package with some pattern paper from Peebles. Here’s a close up of Bella sitting on these pretty Birthday gifts.

Don’t forget to check out the new stamps, dies and more at the Magnolia-licious store. There is always a special find. Diana will also be adding Penny Black stamps, can’t wait to see those.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope the rest of your week goes fast and you look forward to your weekend.

Magnolia-licious Challenge - Lace

Hello, Friends. Team A is back with a new challenge for you at Magnolia-licious and this time we want you to use…

LACE

I colored “Seashell Tilda” from the 2013 Sea Breeze collection this time. She is a cutie. I created a simple design with lots of layers using Maja Designs paper and Bazzill card stock. I slathered lots of Picket Fence Crackle paint over several the card elements. I also used a Magnolia Tag and the “Ocean Map” stamp to dress it up a bit. I added some flowers and vintage seam binding from WOC to the tag along with a spray of chandeliers from MonAmi.

The Butterfly and Elegant Scrollwork die cuts are from Memory Box and my flowers are from Prima and WOC. The lace I got from LLC which is one of my new favorites, so soft and delicate. I finished my card with a sentiment from Hero Arts.

Here’s a close up of Tilda.

There are new items in the Magnolia-licious store. Diana has lots of new Memory Box dies (including lots of fun Christmas shapes) and she is now carrying a new line of stamps from Wild Rose Studio. I can’t wait to share some of my new cards that I will make with these adorable images.

Don’t forget to leave a comment on any of the DT blogs and/or the Challenge blog for a chance to win a weekly prize. The winner is announced every week during “W”ednesday.

For all the details, visit Magnolia-licious Challenge blog.

I hope I’ve inspired you to join us for the challenge. You’ll have a chance to win a prize from Magnolia-licious if you follow along with us and are the lucky winner in the draw.

Midweek Magnolias - Midway Reminder

Hello, Friends! This is my post for the Midway Reminder for Midweek Magnolias – Fancy Folds challenge going on until next Tuesday. So you have a whole week to make something with Fancy Folds and enter for a chance to win a Mystery Prize from Magnolia Sweden.

My Fancy Fold is actually on the inside of the card. I decided to make a 3 step card.

The front features “Playing on the beach Tilda” from the NEW Sea Breeze collection which is available in the Magnolia-licious store. I colored Tilda with Copics and also colored an ocean beach background. I need a little more practice at freehand of ocean water as you might tell. But it’s good enough for my card. I used the rope knot stamp from the Fish Kit over one of my designer papers from Maja Designs. I thought it could use a little enhancement to go with my theme.

The inside features “Salute Tilda,” the “Sea Shell Kit,” and “It’s Summer Time” sentiment also from the Sea Breeze collection

Here’s a close up of Tildas.

I hope my card inspires you to join us with Fancy Folds of your own at Midweek Magnolias. Have a great week.
